Description
Original 1978 backstage pass at the performance of James Brown
at the Cal-Neva Lodge in Lake Tahoe.
The pass was laminated back then and still has the original clip attached.
The pass measures 3-1/8 x 2 and is in EX condition.
There is no date or the name of James Brown on the pass, but I was able to
research the old hand stamped date from May 14, 1978 (see the clippings I located online).
These are NOT included with the sale of the pass.
This pass was most likely used by Gene Redington.
I recently acquired the press pass and ticket collection of  Redington
who worked as an engineer for ABC-TV in the 1960s-1980s.
He worked at hundreds of events and apparently kept all (or most) of his pins and passes.
