James Brown, the Godfather of Soul. A denim jacket from his Mexico 2005 tour in excellent condition. This jacket is original, vintage clothing owned or worn by Mr. Brown. It has no tears or holes. Signed in person by Danny Ray, Mr. Brown's cape man, at his home; there is no better provenance. Purchased directly from Danny Ray in 2010. Occasionally Mr. Brown would no longer want a garment and would give it to Mr. Ray who was his same size. There is no return on this artifact; all sales are final. Photos are not included in this sale except for the one of Danny Ray holding this jacket. Other photos show Mr. Ray at home during several purchases and other Danny Ray and James Brown related photos. In another, Mr. Brown is laid back in his chair in his father's front yard.
